Daily Dose.. The blind to see.

Matt 15:31, ” insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, AND THE BLIND TO SEE: and they glorified the God of Israel.”
This man was working on a roof a number of years ago, when suddenly he found himself falling. Not able to catch himself, he fell to the ground from a few stories up. When he landed, he had landed on his head. He was rushed to the emergency room where they determined he had fractured his skull. His brain was swelling rapidly and required immediate attention. When they had finished, they had managed to save his life, but he was in a deep coma and not able to breath on his own. His mother continued to pray as the swelling increased. The reports were not good. The Doctors where whispering in the corner. It was only a matter of time until she would have to make some hard choices about her son. Live on machines, or….. She continued to pray. She cried out to God to save her son. Soon, things began to turn, swelling went down, treatments were working and one day he awakens. Soon he is back on his feet, all patched up, but, as a side effect to the trauma, he is blind.
Eventually he sets out on his new life. He secures a job that allows him to work with his condition. He continues on, somewhat accepting that this is how its going to be, just happy to be alive. Then one day, a friend tells him of some meeting being held at the Holiday Inn, in his town. He is told that God can and will heal him. This friend offers to come pick him up and bring him to these meetings, fully believing that God will touch him. This photo was taken as I prayed for this man that night. As you can see, we were both feeling the compassion of God being poured out. That night he began to see light again. It wasn’t but a few days later, this man regained his eyesight again! Do not ever forget the God factor. You place that into ANY situation and its a game changer! Also, do not ever hesitate to offer hope to someone. Had it not been for the compassion of a friend, this man would not had been there that night to meet up with that compassionate God!
